袁文平,男,中山大学大气科学学院教授、博士生导师、SCI刊物Plos One学术编辑、中国气象服务协会理事、中组部“万人计划”青年拔尖人才、国家优秀青年基金获得者、教育部新世纪优秀人才、珠海区域气候环境生态预测预警协同创新中心副主任,中国气象服务协会理事。
2017年入选气候变化与环境生态学科“青年长江学者”。

研究领域
袁文平教授主要研究领域为事气候变化、陆地碳循环模型、陆地-大气间碳、水交换的模型发展和应用研究,特别强调借助于遥感资料,增强模型的模拟能力,以为气候模式提供准确的陆气交换信息。主持了863重点项目课题1项,973 和863 项目专题3 项,基金委基金项目3项。在国内外著名学术期刊发表论文78篇,其中第一和通讯作者SCI 文章37篇,其中包括Nature Climate Change 、Nature Communications、Global Change Biology、Remote Sensing of Environment等全球变化主流期刊。近5年文章总引次数为641次,第一作者文章单篇最高引用次数为141次。
袁文平教授近年来致力于开展中山大学地球系统模式的研发工作,具体负责陆地碳循环模型部分的改进与发展工作,实现了碳循环模型与陆表水文模型的初步耦合,使其能够反映土壤侵蚀过程对于碳循环的影响。同时,积极参与申请国家重大研发项目的申请。此外,袁文平教授积极参与学院和学校公共管理事务,参与了我校南海实验室的筹备、组建工作,负责海洋大气部分的申请书撰写,参与了大气科学学院学科规划、评估,与珠海市深圳市气象局合作规划等事宜。
