王新明研究员，1969年2月出生，博士生导师，现任九三学社第十五届中央委员会资源环境专门委员会副主任，有机地球化学国家重点实验室副主任、广东省环境资源利用与保护重点实验室主任、大气环境与空气污染学科组组长。

1991年毕业于中国科学技术大学地球化学专业，获理学学士，1997年毕业于广州地球化学研究所，理学博士学位。1997年起在广地化所工作，2001年晋升为研究员。曾经多次到香港理工大学、法国科学研究中心进行学术访问。获国家杰出青年基金资助，广东省科学技术一等奖、丁颖科技奖，入选第二批国家“万人计划”科技创新领军人才，“广东特支计划”科技创新领军人才等。主要从事区域大气环境有机质研究。已发表论文300余篇，SCI他引5500多次（HI=46）。
