由苯甲酰氯与硫酸肼反应生成对称二苯甲肼，再与硫酸二甲酯反应得到对称二苯甲酰二甲肼，最后将其与盐酸一起回流2小时，进行水蒸气蒸馏，将剩余物减压病蒸发至干，结晶出对称二甲肼盐酸盐。
