JYJ于2010年10月14日发行的首张正规专辑。专辑名称“The Beginning”寓意向世界行进旅程的起点。
为了面向全世界的市场，JYJ的全新专辑由曾获得14次
格莱美奖的当红艺人兼制作人Kanye West，以及
迈克尔·杰克逊、Lady Gaga和碧昂丝的金牌制作人Rodney Jerkins精心打造。
此外，
JYJ也于2010年10月12日起开展“JYJ THE BEGINNING SHOWCASE 2010”全球巡演。
