陆扬,1965年12月生。
北京大学中国古代史研究中心研究员。北京大学梵巴利文1984级本科学生,师从季羡林先生。后负
维也纳大学,师从Ernst Steinkellner。最后在
普林斯顿大学取得
历史学博士学位,师从
崔瑞德(Denis C. Twitchett)、
余英时。毕业后先后执教于普林斯顿大学、
哈佛大学和
堪萨斯大学。2011年获聘北京大学中古史研究中心研究员。
人物经历
1984年9月至1987年10月,就读于北京大学东方语言学系本科,专业
梵语巴厘省文。
1987年10月至1990年4月,就读于维也纳大学(Universitat Wien)
藏学与佛教学研究系。
1991年9月至1996年8月,就读于
普林斯顿大学(Princeton University)东亚研究系。
1999年1月获博士学位。
1996年9月至1999年7月,普林斯顿大学东亚研究系讲师。
1999年8月-2006年7月,普林斯顿大学东亚研究系助理教授。
2006年8月至2007年7月,
哈佛大学(Harvard University)东亚语言与文明研究系客座教授。
2007年8月至2011年6月,
堪萨斯大学(University of Kansas)历史系助教授。
2011年6月起,北京大学历史系暨中国古代史研究中心研究员。
2016年至今,北京大学历史系暨中国古代史研究中心教授。
