广东省燃料电池技术重点实验室主任
廖世军,男,汉族,1958年1月8日出生,博士,二级教授,博士生导师,国务院政府特殊津贴专家,广东省燃料电池技术重点实验室主任,广东省高等学校新能源技术重点实验室主任。华南理工大学教授,主要从事多相催化及电催化、燃料电池及相关领域的研究。
人物经历
1982年学士毕业于华中师范大学黄石分院。
1988年硕士毕业于吉林大学
1999年博士毕业于华南理工大学。
2000年在南非西开普大学从事博士后研究。
2005年在加拿大卡尔加里大学访问研究。
研究领域
廖世军教授的研究领域涵盖多相催化及电催化、燃料电池及相关技术,包括固体酸催化、多孔催化材料、电催化剂电化学及燃料电池催化剂、燃料电池膜电极制备技术、燃料电池极板及电堆设计、大功率燃料电池电堆的开发、炼油下游产物(烯烃)的高效利用等。

主持和完成各类科研项目30 项;其中省级以上科研项目10 项、2.重大项目1 项;省部级科技奖励4项;其中排名第一获教育部高等学校自然科学二等奖1项,科技进步二等奖1项;3.省级鉴定成果3项;申请专利21项,获授权9项,申请美国专利2项;4.发表论文213篇,其中影响因子大于2.0的论文40篇;H因子等于10,在JACS发表论文2篇,单篇最高引用次数达到115次。先后有4篇文章被化学 World, Nature China, Nature Asia, Nature Materials 选为Highligt文章加以评介。5.参编出版编著2 本, 其中1 本在国际著名出版社SPRINGER 出版社出版。6.在国内率先开展羧酸烯烃直接化合成羧酸酯研究和工业化实践,已在全国形成年产100万吨规模的乙酸异丙酯、乙酸仲丁酯生产规模;2007年,该技术获教育部科技进步二等奖。7.主持完成的广东省重大科技项目-300KW 燃料电池电站的开发研究,建成了全球最大的质子交换膜燃料电池电站,国内外数十家媒体给予了报道宣传。

廖世军教授在科研领域取得了显著成就,获得多项科技奖励,包括质子交换膜燃料电池的应用基础研究教育部高等学校自然科学二等奖(2010年,排名第一)、乙酸/丙烯直接酯化合成乙酸异丙酯合成新工艺及催化剂教育部高等学校科技进步二等奖(2007年,排名第一)等。
